Hawkeye Whitetails, in Humeston, Iowa, offers excellent hunting for trophy Whitetail Deer. We own and lease 6,000+ acres of prime deer habitat in south central Iowa. With the mix of heavy timber, row crops and CRP located in these areas you will find plenty of funnels, which is a key to taking trophy deer. With the amount of cover, good genetics and no gun hunting during the rut, we have high quality bucks. Iowa is now #1 in the number of Boone & Crockett bucks killed in the last ten years.
Hawkeye Whitetails has been in business since 1997 as trophy Whitetail deer hunting outfitters and turkey hunting outfitters. We have had many memorable moments hunting the whitetail deer. We are proud to have many returning clients for our hunts year after year. We feel this says something about the way we do things in Iowa.
